Area Band opens for National Recording Artist

ASi Recording artist Zuka will be the opening act for the legendary 80's Rock band ZEBRA appearing on Friday February 14th, 2003 at The Shark Bar, located in the Double D's Entertainment Aomplex, at 4 John Street, just off Ridgedale Avenue in Morristown, NJ (973) 326-9554

ZEBRA is credited with several major hits throughout the 80's and 90's including, "Who's Behind the Door", "No Telling Lies", "Bears", and "Tell Me What You Want". Advance ticket sales are available from ASi for $12.50 by calling 1-800-786-2274 or online at www.asimusic.com . Remaining tickets will be available at the door for $15.00 on the day of the event. Doors will open at 8:00pm.

Zuka's musical style is best described as modern rock meets the 80's, with largely driven guitars and melodic vocals. Zuka's sound has been compared to rock legend bands such as Kansas, and Styx, while blending in their own unique style and sound comperable to that of today's Tonic. With the release of Zuka's second album "From Here to Where", the band's first single "Can't Have Me Now" has reached rotational airplay on more than 60 commercial & college radio stations on the East Coast, with record sales in the thousands.

This performance will mark the first Zuka appearance in almost one year, after returning from a long conjugal hiatus which spawned newest members Ernie & Jerry. Zuka's members are: Anthony Suriano (Lead vocals, acoustic and electric rhythm guitars), James D. Slick (Lead guitar, backing vocals), Dawn Marie Wilson (Backing vocals, percussion), Ernie Welter (Drums), and Jerry Perone (Bass).

ASi Music Group Launches Redesigned Website

ASi Music Group of Middleville, NJ announces the launch of their recently redesigned website, created and developed by Blairstown based StudioA Art & Design. ASi is a northeast regional independent record label and music publishing company affiliated with BMI. In addition to CD duplication packages from promotional music CDs to bulk commercial replication, their services include recording and producing music, mastering, and sound and lighting. They also represent several award winning regional bands including Zuka, Damn the Divas and Drop, Thud, Oops.
