Frankie Goes to Englewood formed
in November of 2003, the brainchild of singer Frank
Melick and bassist Helena Holmes. They enlisted
keyboardist Karen Stark, guitarist John Holmes, and
drummer Rich Kaiser, who shared the same musical vision
and love for 80s pop music. Named after the 80s
band Frankie Goes to Hollywood, the group quickly saw
audience response and a great demand from the crowd to
hear more retro 80s tunes.
Since their first gig in March, 2004, the group
has gained popularity and have gigs booked regularly
throughout the North West Jersey cover scene.
Future dates as well as pictures and retro arcade
games such as Pac-Man and Frogger can be found on the
bands website at www.frankiegoes.com. Frankie
Goes was recently voted as one of Morris County's top 10
Bands!
